ArtStation user creates amazingly detailed concept art of Dune Space Guild

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune recently took the world by storm, as fans of the book series and newcomers alike marveled at the feel and sound of the film. Since this is only the first part of a two-part film, however, there are a lot of characters, lore, and other interesting world-building elements that haven’t been explored yet.

One of the more interesting political factions that fans have yet to see in depth and which play an important role in the Dune series is the Spacing Guild. Thanks to the books, we know a bit more about them, as they are an organization that held exclusive access to faster than light space travel, allowing them to create a monopoly on universe travel.

As you can guess from this description, this guild will likely play an important role in Dune Part 2. This is exactly what ArtStation Artist Keith Christensen must have had in mind when they created the following detailed concept art for the Spacing Guild.

The sketches really have a lot of detail, Christensen digging deeper into the makeup of the Guild suites, even going so far as to add spice stains for more authenticity. They even created the Spacing Guilds emblem for a little extra sparkle.
