Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate “Shri Ram Rajya” Art Gallery at Shri Ramraja Sarkar Temple Complex, Orchha on Sunday on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
On this occasion, five lakh diyas will be lit simultaneously in the Deepotsav to express devotion to Lord Shri Ram in the evening on the banks of the holy river Betwa. The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Religious Trusts and Endowments, Usha Thakur, will also attend. Chief Minister Chouhan said the Ram Navami festival will be celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence across the state. A grand celebration of ‘Shri Ram Janmotsav’ is held in 12 places across the state including Orchha, Chitrakoot, Ujjain, Umaria, Shahdol, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Shivpuri, Neemuch, Ratlam, Chhindwara and Panna.
“Ram Rajya” art gallery dedicated to Lord Shri Ram has been prepared by the Culture Department of Shri Ramraja Sarkar Temple Complex, Orchha. In this, every form of Lord Shri Ram has been depicted in the folk style of almost every state in India. The 36 qualities of Lord Ram and their uniqueness have been expressed through images. Along with this, his coronation event was presented artistically in the form of a tableau. Lord Ram is only worshiped as king in Orchha throughout the land.
On the occasion of Ram Navami, ‘Shri Ram Janmotsav’ will be celebrated from 7 p.m. on April 10, 2022. The glory of Lord Ram will be displayed through dance, dramatic dance and music. There will also be a Bhajan Sandhya with presentations on various episodes from the Ramayana.
