The popularity of the gaming industry has not only paved a concrete path for gamers and streamers, but also for concept artists. Currently, the gaming communities have several concept artists who regularly release concept maps, cosmetics, gameplay, as well as collaboration events. The Fortnite community is one of the best communities for these concept artists. Several concept art have been converted into in-game assets by Epic Games over the past few years. Recently, one such artist released a concept video that reimagined the Fortnite x Stranger Things collaboration event. Fortnite collaboration events are one of the most celebrated things in the community. Loopers patiently wait for collabs to drop so they can add the event-specific cosmetics to their inventories. The Fortnite x Stranger Things collaboration has been quite successful in the past. While it was thought that the collaboration would return once more in Chapter 3 Season 3, Epic Games did not reveal any concrete evidence about it. However, with concept art pouring in, it’s safe to say that players won’t miss much of the Fortnite x Stranger Things action.

Fortnite x Stranger Things concept art left fans in awe

Concept artist 12th Hour recently revealed the Fortnite x Stranger Things concept video to the public. The video features the in-game character located in Tilted Towers walking towards a portal. The portal glows with a yellowish hue and as soon as the character walks around it transforms drastically.

The mood becomes heavy with darkness looming all around the square. The blue sky gives way to clouds, turning it into a Stranger Things setup. The reddish thunder of the clouds also reveals The Mind Flayer looming on the horizon. The concept video is extremely accurate and has received praise from the Fortnite community.

This isn’t the first time the creator has revealed something like this. A few weeks ago, 12th Hour revealed a news clipping that featured Fortnite in an R-rated version. Before that, another concept video from the creator revealed what Fortnite would look like in 1992.

It goes without saying that the concept artist is extremely talented and thinks a lot when it comes to developing these videos. It remains to be seen if Epic Games takes inspiration from this and releases something similar to the Fortnite x Stranger Things concept video in the near future.
