As part of the monthly gallery ride First Friday, kt Gallery in Helper, Utah will hold a vernissage and reception for the solo exhibition, titled “Illusive Clarity”, featuring the artist from Utah CJ Hales, Friday, July 1, 6-8 p.m. at 76 Main Street South in Helper.
Hales is the most recent artist to be represented by kt Gallery, which also represents five other artists. Using oil as her medium of choice, CJ enjoys painting a variety of sources. Its style is rooted in tradition but with a modern and contemporary twist. All of the pieces in this exhibit feature new art and concepts. Hales is a Resident Helper and apprentice of renowned Utah artist, David Dornan. The CJ Hales exhibition “Illusive Clarity” will run from July 1-14.
When asked what he thought of the upcoming show, Hales replied, “Excited and fun. Deadline energy is a pleasure for the creator to make decisions. I enjoy the mix feedback from visitors, locals and local creatives.”
The public is welcome and invited to attend this free event.
kt Gallery currently represents six visual artists, including Marilou Kundmueller, Lisa Chamberlain, CJ Hales, John and Betty Brasher, and Karen Jobe Templeton, and provides space for art forms such as poetry, storytelling, and music.
