NAFCD Announces List of Speakers for 2022 Convention

Chicago, IL, August 12, 2022 – This fall, NAFCD and NBMDA plan to host a wide range of subject matter experts at the 2022 NAFCD + NBMDA Annual Convention. These established speakers will lead sessions on the latest trends in distribution leadership, management, company culture, economics, sales/marketing and workforce retention/recruitment.

Conference attendees will hear from a range of leading authorities and thinkers impacting retail leaders today, including:

Steve McClatchy: Steve McClatchy returns to the one-day NAFCD and NBMDA University of Innovative Distribution (UID) training program that each year precedes its annual convention. This workshop, designed for distribution managers, will focus on team leadership and change management.

Jeff Haven: Jeff Havens is a business growth expert who brings serious solutions to the American public in a very entertaining way. His keynote presentation, “Uncrapify Your Future,” will make the process of creating new ideas, harnessing opportunities, and surviving massive disruption easier than ever.

Tayo Rockson: Tayo Rockson is a polymath in progress – he identifies as a writer, speaker, consultant, podcaster, professor, co-founder and brand strategist at UYD Management. Throughout her session, Rockson will help retail leaders adopt five systematic ways to create a sustainable diversity and inclusion program.

Connor Lokar: Connor Lokar, senior forecaster at ITR Economics, is a master at delivering economic intelligence with charm and candor. This will be seen during its session: “Economic trends in construction and industry markets”.

Ian Heller: Ian Heller, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Distribution Strategy Group, understands how distributors can become more important to manufacturers. Throughout his presentation, he will share the best way to formulate a foolproof business strategy.

Alex Chausovsky: Alex Chausovsky of Miller Resource Group is a highly experienced market researcher and analyst. During his keynote, Chausovsky will lift the curtain on the recruitment industry and explain how one can attract, hire and retain key players.
