A play shared special concept art and revealed new additions to the growing cast of the new live-action series currently in the works for Netflix! With One Piece recently celebrating its 25th anniversary as both manga and anime releases pass the 1000th anniversary milestone, the franchise is far from slowing down as it has been announced that it is now set to move forward. with full live view shooting. on Eiichiro Oda’s massive action franchise. Eyes on this new series production have been slim, but luckily Netflix has released a major new update on its progress.
Along with releasing a special behind-the-scenes look at new Netflix production during Netflix Geeked Week 2022 (which offers the best look at the actual series yet), there have been more cast members announced for the series. which is only getting bigger. . Joining the cast of Netflix’s new live-action series One Piece (which has yet to confirm an official release date as of this writing) are:

- Chioma Umeala (her) is NOJIKO
They will join previously announced additions of Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, Vincent Regan as Garp, Peter Gadiot as Shanks and Jean Henry as Fullbody. As for the initial main staff, Steven Maeda serves as showrunner, producer, and writer while Matt Owens will serve as executive producer.
Original series creator Eiichiro Oda was also heavily involved in the production of the new series and previously praised the cast of the Straw Hats with, “Their faces, the size of their mouths and hands, their aura, the way they behave, their voice, their acting skills, their height, the balance within the Straw Hat crew, etc…!” Oda continued, “We chose this cast after many discussions with people around the world! These are the people who will be our Straw Hat Pirates! It will take a little longer to make this show, but we will continue to We’re doing our best to put on a show that we’re sure everyone in the world will enjoy! Expect more updates in the future!”
