Thor 4 Concept Art Shows Gorr’s Moving, Bug-Like Prisons


New Thor: Love and Thunder concept art reveals an alternate third act that would have featured more shadow creatures from Gorr the God Butcher.

Recently released concept art for Thor: Love and Thunder previews an alternate ending for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

In a recent Instagram post, George Hull, who is a senior concept designer who worked on dune, Blade Runner 2049 and guardians of the galaxy, shared a piece of concept art from the 2022 Marvel movie that shows Chris Hemsworth’s Thor staring down at several shadow creatures and cages. “These THOR The concept paintings are just a few I created for the director and crew as they considered different options for the film’s final act… (Christian Bale’s Gore character trying to enter Eden in using Thor’s axe, using shadow cages and creatures, etc.),” ​​Hull captioned the post. “The first scenario had the children’s souls as needed to enter Eden, but in the end, Taika chose to simplify the story and settings for the better. Hull’s concept art is one of many that have been posted online following the film’s July 2022 release. Previously, artists shared concept art featuring Jeff Goldblum’s grandmaster, whose scenes have been removed from the final cut of love and thunder. Concept art featuring the Grandmaster is said to be from a scene set after Thor battles Zeus in Omnipotence City. Another piece of concept art gave fans a closer look at the Egyptian god Bastet, who is a key part of Wakandan culture and made a small appearance in the Thor after.
